Carrie Smith is an artist currently working with the body, architecture, and metaphor.  Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she attended Washington University in St. Louis where she earned her BFA in Sculpture and minored in writing.  Following her undergraduate degree, Smith moved to Gainesville, Florida where she received her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Florida.  In addition to her work Smith enjoyed teaching sculpture and drawing as adjunct Faculty at the University of Florida.  Smith currently lives and works in Washington DC and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
